WHAT MAKES US SO SPECIAL?

We are very proud of the fact that the food served at Calico Cupboard is honestly made from scratch with an unusually high standard of food quality and lots of old-fashioned goodness. Fresh and unprocessed ingredients are used whenever possible. All our bakery procucts are made right here at Calico Cupboard from freshly milled, organically-grown whold grain and unbleached flours, honey, and other natural ingredients. Our soups, salads and sandwiches are carefully made daily using hte freshest produce, light mayonnaise, lots of fiber - rich beans and grains. Many meatless and heart-healthy breakfasts and lunches are available. Our daily lunch special is often of a healthy nature.

We realize that many of you are on restricted diets, have specific food allergies, or simply like things eliminated or substituted for something else. Fore example, soy cheese is available for those who cannot tolerate lactose. So, whenever possible we will make every effort to accomodated your requests... just ask. In short because we're concerned about the taste of the food you eat and your health - and because we want you for a customer for a long time - we go to great lenghts to make sure you are served only the best.

Additionally, because we make each ortder as we receive it, not in advance like some restaurants, it takes time. Please be patient.

Finally, we always want to know how you feel about 9our food and service, so we would appreciate you taking the time to let us know your opinions and suggestions on the comment cards located on your table.
